Results results results!

You know that feeling when you’re waiting for important news? That little knot of anxiety in your stomach as you refresh your email for the tenth time or log into a results portal with one eye closed. I’ve been living with that feeling for a little while now. But this week, the universe decided to reply, and it did so in the best way possible.

It started with my semester results. To be completely honest, after a long and demanding term, I was just hoping for a decent pass. I knew I’d put the effort in the late nights, the challenging projects, the sheer volume of work but you can never be certain how it will all translate. When the page finally loaded, I had to read it twice. The grades were not just decent, they were way better than I had dared to expect. The wave of relief and happiness that washed over me was immense. It was a beautiful, tangible validation of all that hard work.

And of course, I didn’t get there alone. It’s a powerful reminder of how important it is to be surrounded by good people. To my friends and teammates who endured my stressed-out ramblings, joined me for late-night study sessions, and generally kept me going, thank you. You were a huge part of this. 🙏

Internship Interview!

Just as I was soaking in that wonderful news, a second wave started to build. I got the email I had been anxiously waiting for since my recent interviews. I’m absolutely thrilled to share that I have been offered an internship with [REDACTED]!

I’m now in the process of sorting out the paperwork, and it’s all starting to feel wonderfully real. To say I’m excited would be an understatement. The opportunity to step into the world of [REDACTED] with a team as respected as theirs is something I’ve been working towards for a long time.

More than anything, I’m looking forward to learning. My goal is to go in with an open mind, to be a sponge, and to absorb as much knowledge and experience as I possibly can. I can’t wait to learn from the experts, contribute to real projects, and see how the skills I’ve developed in university apply in a professional setting. 🚀

After the rollercoaster of the last month, from the intense highs and lows of the Kaggle competition to the bittersweet closure of my house guardian duties, this feels like an incredible new chapter. It’s a moment where everything feels aligned, and I’m just feeling incredibly grateful and ready for what’s next.
