Three days in KL with Boon, Shaun and Yen Xin, and a welcome break after exams.

Three Days in KL

From Thursday to Saturday, 29th to 31st October, I was in KL with Boon, Shaun and Yen Xin. We are friends from polytechnic, and the idea for the trip came up out of the blue during one of our previous meetups. It had been a long, long time since we last travelled together, so I was glad we made it happen.

After exams, having a few days away with them felt good. October had been tiring, and this was a welcome chance to take a break and spend some time together.

Arriving on Thursday

We reached KL on Thursday, went for a meal, and then went prawning. That was how we spent our first day, settling into the trip with food and something to do together.

Chagee was nice too, and I took a photo of the interior while we were there. The tall, colourful display was something I wanted to remember.

Friday in KL

On Friday, we had Village Park nasi lemak for brunch before spending the afternoon into the evening at the aquarium.

I took this photo of the Petronas Towers as we were coming out of KLCC. It was just a moment on our way out, but I liked having a picture of the towers to keep from the trip.

Heading Home

By Saturday, it was time to head home. I felt good going back because we had managed to spend these few days together, especially after so long without travelling as a group.

There was no particular big event that defined the trip for me. I was simply happy to have gone away with Boon, Shaun and Yen Xin again. A few meals, some time exploring KL, and a break after exams made for a good end to October.
